Minty Madness Hot Chocolate

Mint and chocolate is one of the most popular combinations when it comes to flavoured chocolate, offering a distinctive and fragrant taste. Enjoy a minty hot chocolate with our Fresh & Free Extract for extra minty twist.

Ingredients:

• 1 1/2 cups of your choice of milk
• 1 1/2 cups heavy cream (or vegan alternative)
• 1/4 cup coconut sugar
• 1/8 teaspoon salt
• 170g bittersweet chocolate, chopped
• 3 drops peppermint oil
• 1 serving Life Cykel Fresh & Free Extract
• Whipped cream and chocolate shavings to serve

Method

• In a saucepan, combine the cream, milk, sugar, and salt and heat over medium-low heat.
• When the cream mixture just begins to steam, add the chopped chocolate, and stir, until melted
• Stir in the peppermint oil.
• Place the raspberries in a food processor or blender and pulse a few times until smooth.
• Divide the hot chocolate among mugs and top with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
