Raspberry Dream Hot Chocolate
Raspberry and chocolate is the ultimate berry-chocolate match up with the rich and smooth taste of chocolate combined with the sweet and tart flavours of raspberry. Add in the Essence of Wisdom Extract for that extra bush food flare!
• 1 1/2 cups of your choice of milk
• 3/4 cup fresh raspberries or thawed if using frozen raspberries
• 1 tablespoon cocoa powder
pinch of salt
• 10 g dark chocolate
• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 tsp maple syrup or to taste
• 1 Dropper full of Essence of Wisdom Extract
• Toppings e.g. whipped cream, marshmallows, raspberry coulis
• Pour the milk into a saucepan. Bring the milk to a simmer and turn off the heat.
• Place the cocoa powder into a bowl.
• Add 1 1/2 tablespoons of milk and mix together to create a smooth paste.
• Put the raspberries in a food processor or blender and pulse until smooth.
• Place a sieve over a bowl. Pour the puree into the sieve.
• Use a rubber spatula or back of spoon to push the puree through the sieve and discard the seeds.
• Add the raspberry puree, cocoa, salt, dark chocolate, vanilla and Essence of Wisdom extract to the milk and whisk to combine.
• Bring the hot chocolate to a gentle boil and take off the heat.
• Sweeten with maple syrup to taste.
• Add toppings of your choice!
